In the Global Railway Training Program, we participated in the 2023 Korean Society for Railway International Conference from October 31 to November 3, 2023.
At the conference, the trainees actively sought out activities that would contribute to their career development, such as attending academic presentations and participating in booth activities related to their fields of study.
In particular, the trainees visited several booths related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, gaining opportunities to learn about new technologies and knowledge in the railway sector. They were able to access the latest papers and materials not only from Korea but also from countries such as China and Indonesia through presentations.
Additionally, the trainees had the opportunity to strengthen their future connections by engaging in business meetings with key railway professionals from around the world, making their activities at the event not only about knowledge acquisition but also about building valuable networks.
Lastly, the event was not limited to conference participation; it also provided trainees with the opportunity to explore Korea's outstanding natural landscapes and appreciate its beauty. The trainees enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Korea, particularly Jeju Island, and strengthened their relationships with each other in the process.
