On May 7, 2024, a group of 38 participants from the Woosong University Global Railway Training Program, including 33 trainees and 5 supervisors, conducted a comprehensive on-site visit to various railway facilities in Osong. This visit was designed to provide the trainees with an in-depth understanding of Korea's advanced railway technology and operational systems.

The visit commenced at 2:00 PM with the delegation's arrival at the Osong Equipment Office, where they were warmly welcomed and briefed on the current status of the facilities. The group then proceeded to tour the Long Rail Production Plant, receiving a detailed explanation of the rail production process, followed by a visit to the track and catenary equipment used in railway construction projects.

Subsequently, the trainees traveled to the Sampyo Osong Plant, where they toured the high-speed turnout manufacturing facility and received safety training. This was followed by a visit to the Osong Testing Center, where they were introduced to the railway test track and various testing equipment. The trainees had the opportunity to observe the practical application of railway technology and gain a deeper understanding of Korea's expertise in ensuring safety and efficiency in railway operations.

The visit concluded with a tour of the control center at the Osong Testing Center, where the trainees were given an overview of the control systems and additional safety training. They also visited the TS2 testing site, where they learned about advanced testing procedures and technologies.

This visit to the Osong railway facilities provided the trainees with valuable hands-on experience, reinforcing their knowledge of Korea's leading role in the global railway industry. It was a significant opportunity for them to witness firsthand the technological advancements and operational excellence that position Korea as a key player in the international railway sector.
