[KGSP NEWS] Woosong University Global Railway Training Program Holds Successful 2nd Network Conference 첨부파일

On Friday, March 22, 2024, the 2nd Network Conference of the Woosong University Global Railway Training Program was successfully held at the Amid Hall on the 2nd floor of the Amid Hotel in Seoul. The event, co-hosted by the Korea Railway Association and Woosong University, brought together approximately 70 participants, including 32 trainees from the 6th cohort of the program.




The conference aimed to facilitate networking between domestic railway companies and global trainees, providing a platform to support the expansion of international railway business ventures. The event began at 2:00 PM with an opening session that included an introduction to the conference, a presentation of the trainees, and an introduction of the participating companies.




The first session featured presentations by two leading domestic railway companies. Chan Jin-Woo, Team Leader from Hyundai Rotem, delivered the first presentation, followed by a presentation from Yun Seong-Ho, Deputy Manager of the Korea Railroad Corporation. Both speakers shared insights on their companies' current status and their visions for international railway projects.




After a short coffee break, the second session focused on presentations by the trainees. Munkhnasan Jargalsaikhan from Mongolia and Jurabek Saburov from Uzbekistan each presented on the railway industry in their respective countries and shared their experiences in the training program, capturing the attention of the audience.




At 3:40 PM, all participants gathered for a commemorative group photo, followed by a networking session that lasted until 4:55 PM. During this time, the trainees had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from domestic railway companies, discussing potential collaborations and future opportunities.




The conference concluded at 5:00 PM, marking the end of the official program. The event successfully strengthened the network between domestic railway companies and trainees, paving the way for future cooperation and support for international business ventures in the railway industry.
