On November 27, 2024, the 7th Global Railway Training Program Network Forum was held at the President Hotel in Seoul. Organized by the Korea Railway Association as part of a broader capacity-building initiative, the event brought together 32 trainees from 13 countries and representatives from leading Korean railway companies to foster international cooperation and knowledge exchange.

The forum opened with welcome remarks and networking opportunities, followed by a series of insightful presentations. Hyundai Rotem and Miraero Co., Ltd. introduced advanced technologies and shared their overseas business achievements, underscoring Korea’s expanding role in the global railway industry. In addition, trainees from Mongolia and Uzbekistan presented the current status and development plans of their respective railway sectors, offering a valuable glimpse into the diverse global railway landscape.

The event served as a platform for Korean companies to showcase innovative products and for overseas professionals to engage in meaningful discussions on mutual growth, technology exchange, and future cooperation. It also helped deepen participants’ understanding of Korea’s railway advancements, contributing to stronger ties between nations.
