On November 28, 2024, trainees from the Global Railway Training Program at Woosong University visited the Korea Railroad Traffic Control Center (Guro Control Center) for a comprehensive on-site tour. This visit was part of the official KGSP (Korean Government Scholarship Program) curriculum, aimed at deepening the trainees' understanding of Korea's advanced railway control systems.

Participants, including international railway officials and faculty members, were guided through the center’s state-of-the-art facilities. The session included a detailed explanation of Korea’s integrated rail traffic management, safety systems, and real-time monitoring technologies. The trainees gained firsthand insights into how the control center oversees operations on major routes, including high-speed and conventional lines.

The tour was facilitated under the cooperation of the Korea Railroad Corporation, and it served as a valuable learning opportunity for future railway leaders to observe Korea’s smart rail control infrastructure in action.

This experiential learning session not only bridged theory and practice but also strengthened global partnerships in railway development and education.
