On April 24, 2025, the 2nd Network Conference of the KGSP-Woosong University Global Railway Training Program was held at the Amid Hotel (2nd Floor) in Seoul. Organized by the Korea Railway Industry Association and Woosong University, the event brought together overseas trainees, faculty members, and representatives from leading Korean railway companies to strengthen cooperation and share insights on the future of global railway development.

The conference began with an opening ceremony, including welcoming remarks from the Korea Railway Association Vice Chairman and the Director of the Global Railway Training Program at Woosong University, followed by a commemorative group photo session.

The main program consisted of two presentation sessions.
Session 1 featured domestic companies introducing their advanced technologies and overseas business achievements, including presentations from ASIA-TECH Co., Ltd. CEO Lee Jong-jin and KOBA Co., Ltd. Deputy General Manager Lee Jae-ho.

Session 2 was dedicated to international trainee presentations, with representatives from the Philippines (Leomarie V. Obias) and Egypt (Mostafa Mahmoud Fathy Al Metwally) sharing insights into their countries’ railway development plans and their learning experiences in Korea.

After a short coffee break, the afternoon continued with Session 3, where trainees and company representatives engaged in open discussions to explore future collaborations. In parallel, Session 4 provided pre-registered companies with exclusive one-on-one meetings with trainees, offering an opportunity for deeper professional networking and exchange.

The event concluded with closing remarks, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation between Korea and participating countries in advancing railway technology and infrastructure.

As part of Korea’s ongoing efforts to foster global expertise and strengthen partnerships in the railway sector, the 2nd Network Conference once again served as a meaningful platform for knowledge sharing, mutual growth, and cross-cultural collaboration.
