On June 12, 2025 (Thursday), the 3rd Network Conference of the KGSP–Woosong University Global Railway Training Program was successfully held at the Amid Hotel (2nd Floor) in Seoul. Jointly organized by the Korea Railway Industry Association and Woosong University, the event brought together around 80 participants, including overseas trainees, faculty members, and representatives from leading Korean railway companies. The conference served as a key platform to promote cooperation, share insights, and strengthen global partnerships in the railway sector.

The conference opened with welcoming remarks from the Director of the Overseas Business Department of the Korea Railway Industry Association and the Director of the Global Railway Training Program at Woosong University. Their speeches emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration between Korea and participating countries to advance international railway development.

In Session 1, international trainees delivered insightful presentations. Mr. Paulo Daniel Kasela from Tanzania and Mr. Faiziev Sherzod from Tajikistan shared their respective countries’ railway development strategies, current challenges, and key takeaways from their training experience in Korea.

After a commemorative group photo, Sessions 2 and 3 focused on one-on-one meetings and networking sessions between trainees and company representatives. These sessions provided opportunities for direct communication, career consultations, and discussions on potential cooperation in future railway projects.

The conference concluded in a warm and engaging atmosphere, reinforcing the spirit of international exchange and mutual learning.

As part of Korea’s ongoing effort to cultivate global railway professionals and strengthen ties with partner countries, the 3rd Network Conference once again proved to be a meaningful platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and fostering long-term collaboration in the global railway industry.
