On July 8, 2025, trainees of the KGSP Global Railway Training Program at Woosong University conducted field visits to the Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI) and CSIN Tech Co., Ltd., gaining firsthand experience of Korea’s latest railway technologies and innovations.

In the morning, participants visited CSIN Tech Co., Ltd., a company specializing in railway vehicle electronics, signalling, and communication systems. They learned about CSIN’s patented technologies, including smart train control systems, onboard signalling devices, and integrated communication modules that enhance railway safety and operational efficiency.

In the afternoon, the group visited KRRI, where researchers introduced Korea’s railway R&D achievements, such as next-generation high-speed train development, eco-friendly propulsion systems, and intelligent railway infrastructure. The trainees also had opportunities to observe ongoing test projects and discuss potential international cooperation in technology exchange.

The visits provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of Korea’s industrial and research excellence in the railway field, bridging academic learning with real-world applications and reinforcing global collaboration for sustainable railway development.
